Today Date Triggered Content

Just two days this weekend – but still time to get out and about

As the weather gets warmer you might be starting to think about going a bit further afield with your child, but this can bring its own challenges. Young children don’t have the same concept of time as we do, so the questions about, “How much further?” might start straight away, or your baby might wonder why they can’t be cuddled and show this by crying.

You won’t be surprised that we think understanding your child’s development can help to keep these journeys calm. Don’t forget to check your child’s skills regularly – by keeping their journey up to date you will have activity ideas and articles linked to your child’s development to help you understand where they are now.

If you're wondering how to pack what you need for a week (or even a day out) with your baby – watch our video to see our community manager Becki’s top packing tip!

You can adapt this to work for children of any age, too, by wrapping outfits together for each day (plus some spares!).
