You might find that your baby wants to be with you most of the time and is upset when you leave. This is an important step in their development and shows they have a great connection with you. But it can feel quite intense at times, so focusing on your breathing might help you to restore your sense of calm.
Try four, five, six, breathing
- Take a deep breath in and out through your mouth, try to take the breath right to your stomach.
- Breathe in through your nose for a count of four.
- Hold your breath for a count of five.
- Breathe out for a count of six.
- Repeat this three times and notice how you feel.
