Time for you and your toddler – take it when you most need it

We know that some days feel harder than others and pressures can come from almost anywhere. If you are having one of those days, take a breath and absorb yourself in your toddler. 

Take some time to unwind by creating a moment for you both to connect 

Pausing the day to spend intimate time together can create a little bit of headspace. It provides time to appreciate the smaller things in life, with the focus being on the simple pleasure of being together. 

Taking a moment to change a nappy, or having a drink together, something that involves you both connecting in an intimate way can help lift your emotions.  

This isn’t an answer for all your challenges, but it might help both you and your toddler to regain your emotional balance 

So next time you need refueling, think about making time for intimacy.
