Need to take a minute? We all need to take time for ourselves, it’s perfectly natural

Mindfulness:  

You might find that your baby is beginning to want to be with you and to be upset when you leave. This is an important step in their development and shows they have a great connection with you.  

But it can feel quite intense at times, focusing on your breathing might help you to restore your sense of calm.  

You could try 4,5,6, breathing: 

1) Take a deep breath in and out through your mouth, try to take the breath right to your stomach.

 
2) Breathe in through your nose for a count of 4. 


3) Hold your breath for a count of 5. 


4) Breathe out for a count of 6. 


5) Repeat this 3 times and notice how you feel after breathing deeply.
