Five books about families

Looking at books can be a great way to chat about all the things families enjoy doing together, and about who is in your family. Here are some stories we love.

One Family by George Shannon and Blanca Gomez

9780374300036

How many people are in your family? This lovely book shows a family can be big or small – each page features a family with a different number of people.

The illustrations show them spending time together, inside and outside – shopping, washing and playing.

Why not chat about the pictures, count how many people are in your own family and think about what you all enjoy doing together?
