Read the reviews
Before you think about going to your first baby class, have a look at what is on offer nearby, and whether it is suitable for you and your baby. Having a look at the social media pages and reviews is also a great way to see what other people thought of the class, and if it is what you are looking for.
Ask a friend
If you have a friend with a baby of a similar age, it might also be a good idea to invite them along. They might appreciate your offer and it could bring you closer in friendship. A bonus may be that you could also travel together. If you have any friends with children a little older than yours, you could also ask them for some recommendations.
What to bring
Baby classes can also be a little messy, especially when you are going to sensory classes. The person or organisation running the class may tell you a few things to bring, but spare clothes and a towel are always great to pack!
There are many different types of baby classes available, from sensory groups, story and rhyme sessions to baby disco! You might end up trying out a few until you find what's right for you and your baby.
