Celebrate the women in your family

You could spend the day or a few hours with other women in the family – even something as simple as going for a walk! You could share photos and stories of women in your family from the past and discuss the similarities and differences in their lives. This is a good opportunity to talk about how the rights and roles of women has changed over time, in a way that is relatable and accessible.

Wear Purple

Purple was the colour worn by the women of the Suffragette movement, and is now known as the colour of International Women’s Day.
