Time for a walk?

‘In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.’  – Alice Walker.

We think you could say the same with parenting! This is your reminder to get outside and look for some beautiful trees today.

Walking isn’t only great for our mental and physical health, it is also a wonderful way to socialise. If you have a young baby, why not swap the coffee shop or baby class for a walk? Pack yourself a flask, research some buggy-friendly local routes (always nice to mix things up) or pull out your sling and get striding.

If you don’t have anyone to walk with, Blaze Trails (www.blazetrails.org.uk) have a network of baby walking groups. Bored of your local park? Apps such as OS Maps, ViewRanger and AllTrails might be helpful.
