Pineapple lollies recipe

It is important to keep yourself and your child happy, healthy and hydrated in the summer heat. It is recommended that we should all increase our water intake on those hot and sticky days, and as well as drinking plenty of fluids, eating foods with a high water content is a great way to do so.  

This pineapple lolly recipe is super quick and simple, and only requires one ingredient. When you child is eating these lollies, always ensure that they are supervised.

 

You will need: 

  • a pineapple
  • lolly sticks  

 

How to: 

  • Cut the skin off of your pineapple and cut the flesh into fingers, each around an inch thick.  
  • Gently slide these fingers onto the lolly sticks.  
  • If you don’t want to eat your lollies straight away, pop them into the freezer to keep cold and fresh.
