We’re sure you’ve heard that the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games are happening from 28th July until 8th August, with events being held in venues all across Birmingham and the West Midlands. The great British summer has done what it does best and given us some unexpected weather! This time we have sun... so much sun. As a country not well set up for super-hot days (and sticky, warm nights), we know keeping your family cool feels like a challenge, especially when combined with heading out to make the most of the good weather.
Have your heard about the Healthy Start scheme? Healthy Start was set up by the UK government to support those with children, as well as people who are about to become parents, with healthy eating. The scheme initially gave out paper vouchers, but this year has changed to a card that is topped up weekly.
