'A Beautiful Oops' by Barney Saltzberg

If your child struggles with making mistakes this could be a great book for them!  As we turn the pages we encounter lots of different sorts of things that have gone wrong such as a spill, a smudge, a tear and a crumpled piece of paper! Each ‘Oops’ is then incorporated into a new creative idea, firing the imagination to work with and around the mistake, transforming the problem into a creative opportunity.

The book can open up great conversations with your child about how everybody makes mistakes and how sometimes things don’t go to plan, but when new plans are formulated they might turn out better!  It’s a big hooray for mistakes!
