Your toy is hiding – shall we see where it has gone?

What you need 

• Some favourite toys 
• A box or blanket 

What to do 

• Hide one of your baby’s toys under a blanket or in a box and say, "Where's it gone?"  
• Your baby will know that they need to look for the toy. 
• You could demonstrate lifting the blanket to look. Then as your baby’s understanding and physical skills develop, they might lift the blanket themselves.
