Would you like this one? Help your baby choose an object

What you need 

• A fabric bag 
• Toys 

What to do 

1. Put the toys in the bag. 
2. Sit with your baby in a place where you are both comfortable. 
3. Take a toy out and say, “Would you like this one?”  
4. Pause and give them time to respond. 
5. Your baby might take the toy and play with it for a little while or drop it and look at the bag to see what else you have. 
6. Keep choosing and offering toys until your baby shows they would like to do something else.
