Who is that? Joining in with a video call

What to try 

• If you have friends or family who live further away, include your baby in your conversations when you video call. 
• They might not quite understand what is happening yet, but when the person on the call responds to them this can provide the to and fro interactions that support your baby’s development.  

Good to know 

Video calls aren’t the same as being face-to-face, but this can be a valuable way to support your baby to develop relationships with friends and family who can’t visit often.
