What’s that you can see? I love how you are able to tell me!

What you need 

• A fine weather day, or a good view out of a window! 

What to do 

1. Weather permitting, go outside with your baby.  
2. Sit together and look at the trees, birds, buildings.  
3. Comment on what you can see. Does anything catch your baby’s interest? You will know when they see something and make a sound.  
4. If you notice what it is that captures their interest, make a big fuss and tell them what it is they are looking at. 

Good to know 

If the weather is not so great, or the time isn’t right for a trip outside, you could try looking out of the window and talking about what you see.
