What you need
Five or six toys
A tea towel or piece of fabric
What to do
Find five or six toys and put them in front of your child.
Give them a few minutes to play with them.
Place three toys in a row and talk to your child about which toys are there.
Cover the toys with the tea towel or piece of fabric and swap one toy for another.
Remove the fabric and ask your child, “What’s different?”
Keep playing for as long as your child is interested in the game.
