What you need
- A clean (deep rather than flat) oven tray
- Water
- Bath toys or other waterproof toys
- Towel
What to do
- Either lie your baby down on a towel for some tummy time or sit them up with you.
- Pour some water into the tray and add the toys.
- Encourage your baby to pick up the toys, smell them, lick them, taste them and squeeze them to feel the textures with their hands and mouth.
Babies must always be closely supervised near water.
