Water fun – you might get wet with this filling and emptying activity

What you need 

• Containers of different sizes for your toddler to explore during bathtime or water play  

What to do 

1. Encourage them to fill their container with water and then empty it.  
2. Demonstrate how to pour water from various heights. 
3. Challenge your toddler to pour water from as high as they can reach. 
4. Encourage them to fill some containers that are close to them. 
5. Pop some containers an arm's length from your toddler, so they extend their arms to pour.
