Walk the line – no wait, let’s run the line!

What you need 

• Tape, or chalk 

What to do 

1. Clear a space on the floor indoors, or you can just as easily use space outdoors.  
2. Tape or chalk straight lines on the floor, with a starting point and a stopping point.  
3. Encourage your toddler to move to the starting point. 
4. Say “Ready.... Go!” to signal for them to run along the line until they reach the stop section.  
5. Try to encourage your toddler to stay on the line as they run. This is tricky, so don’t worry if they don’t manage it.
