Use photos to help your child remember a journey
What you need
- A few photos of people or places you visit regularly
What to do
- Look at the photos together.
- Chat about how you get to those places.
- Talk about if it was a long journey or a short one.
- Ask your toddler if they remember what they saw; you could use your questions to help them put the journey in order. So, “Yes, we went past the shop. Then what did we see?”
- You could even take some photos of key points along the route next time you go, and look at them with your toddler to talk about the journey you took.
