Twist on, twist off – a lids and container exploration activity

What you need 

• Used, clean screw top containers and lids 

What to do 

1. Give your toddler the selection of containers and lids and the time to explore.   
2. Offer support where needed. 

Any size bottles with different screw caps and lids will work; however, for safety purposes, make sure that the smaller lids won't present a choking risk.  

Good to know 

Your collection of lids and containers can be kept for play for as long as your toddler is interested. 

It can be added to, and taken away; this helps keep the mystery, challenge and excitement alive.
