Find two plastic cups that slot inside each other. When your toddler is awake and playful, show them the two cups. First, make sure your toddler is watching as you place one cup inside the other, then model how to twist and turn the cups. You might also demonstrate how to pull the inner cup back out. Pass the cups to your toddler and give them time to explore.
Twisting two cups might be very tricky to do, so your toddler will need to have lots of practise with this activity.
