When you have a quiet moment and your baby is comfortable and calm, take them in your arms and place them on your knee facing you. Be sure to hold their head and support their back.
Make happy noises and have a big smile on your face. If you move your head slowly while you make some happy sounds, your baby may look towards you.
The sounds you make may excite your baby and if they have space, you may notice that their arms and legs make movements in response to sound.
