Taking your baby out for a walk is a wonderful way for them to look at lots of interesting things. If this is the first time your baby has been outside keep the walk short and walk as far as you feel comfortable.
Dress your baby in clothes suitable for the weather, if the weather isn’t suitable, you can still join in by sitting near a window.
Whether you are outside or indoors, talk with your baby about the things you can see. They might turn their head if they hear a car pass by, or if people walk by.
