Time for you – responding to your baby’s affection

Your baby is beginning to show affection in the ways you have shown affection to them. They might enjoy time with you having a cuddle or they might come to give you a kiss. This is another way for your baby to start an interaction with you. Respond to these affection approaches so your baby learns that this can be a way to start an interaction with you. This is another way of engaging in serve and return with your baby which supports their development in many ways.
