Statues – play this game to practise holding a position

What to do 

• Show your child a few pictures of statues, or if they’ve seen one before chat about that one.  
• Then tell them that in this game, you’re both going to be a statue!  
• Start by simply copying the position of a statue in a picture yourself.  
• Then, see if your child can get in position and pretend to be the statue too.
• Play for as long as your child enjoys the game. 
• If they like the game, you can show them a few different pictures of statues and ask them to stand like one, then you can guess what they’re being.
