Splash wash! Your toddler will love mixing it up with water play

What you need 

• Spoons, bottles, tubs and other containers 
• A washing up bowl, or bucket 
• Water 

What to do

1. Fill up the bowl with water and place it in the garden (or anywhere else that you don’t mind getting wet).  
2. Place the other items in and around the bowl of water. 
3. Give your toddler time to splash and explore.  
4. Play with them, picking up containers and pouring water between them.   
5. Encourage them to mix and pour water for themselves – you may need some extra towels or spare clothes at the ready for then they’ve finished!
