Sing a little song – notice whether your baby tries to join in

What you need 

• The words to a few songs or nursery rhymes 

What to try 

• Singing! When you do it, notice when your baby pauses and listens to your voice as you move melodically through the verses.  

Good to know 

Sing anything you like! You might feel more comfortable singing your favourite songs or you could try making up a song – this could simply be based on what you are doing at that moment.
