What to do
- Go for a walk with your baby and point to interesting animals or objects.
- Comment, “Look, [Joshua] – a plane.”
- Give [Joshua] time to look and respond to what you have shown [him:her:them] before you carry on walking.
Good to know
This is lovely to do when you don’t have to be anywhere at a particular time, so you can spend time admiring the spread in the bakery shop window, or spotting squirrels in the park.
