When dressing your baby, select loose clothes that are easy to get on and off. Lie your baby on their back on a flat surface. Think of this as a social time, when your baby turns their head to look towards you, respond with a cheery voice and say something like ‘Oooh, that feels nice doesn’t it?’
Not all babies like to get dressed so chatting to them can help the discomfort. Make funny noises as you slide their arms and legs through clothing, when they look at you, take time to blow a kiss.
