What you need
- A pencil
- A peg or clip trouser hanger
What to do
- Open the peg or hanger clip and securely insert the pencil.
- Invite your toddler to come and open the hanger or peg by placing their index finger on the top lever and pressing on it.
Good to know
If this seems a little challenging at first, swap the pencil for something chunkier, like a chunky crayon or perhaps a plastic toy. You could gradually make it harder by using smaller objects to ‘set free’.
