What you need
- A selection of household objects, like a potato masher, shower puff or empty egg carton
What to try
- Put the objects where your baby can see them, but just out of reach.
- Give them time to look at the items and think about how they might be able to reach the objects.
- Try different items to see what your baby prefers.
Make sure any objects your baby has to play with are safe; check there are no small parts that can come loose and always supervise your baby when they are playing.
