Pull along toys – catch them if you can

What you need 

• A pull-along toy. If you don’t have one, try tying a piece of string to a toy that your toddler is interested in 

What to do 

1. Encourage your toddler to try and catch a pull-along toy by pulling the toy slowly enough for them to keep up with and catch it.  
2. If you can see they are enjoying it, let them get really close to the toy and then pull it away, stop, when they get close again, then pull it away.
