Picture hunts are great as a low-energy activity!

What to try 

• Take some photos or draw some pictures of objects you have at home – ones that you are happy for your toddler to find and bring to you. 
• Show your toddler one of the pictures and ask them to bring you the object.  
• Photos might be easier for them to link with an object to start with, but after some practice you could draw simple pictures to use for your treasure hunt. 
• If it is safe to do so, you could let your toddler take a photo of something for you, or another adult, to find and bring them. Make sure they are always supervised while using a phone.
