• Brochures or magazines 

What to try 

• Leave magazines and brochures for your baby to examine once you've finished reading them. 
• If you notice magazines in the library, look at these for a bit of variation. 

Good to know 

Because the paper is so thin, don't expect your baby to turn one page at a time. 

Do expect pages to get ripped! Your baby is starting to develop controlled fine motor movements and they don’t yet have the control to turn pages gently.
