A trip to the park to strengthen your toddler’s hand muscles
What to do
When you go to the park, encourage your toddler to hang from a bar on the climbing frame.
A low bar, so their feet are only just off the ground, is best as their grip won’t be very strong yet.
If they aren’t keen on the feeling of hanging down or pulling on a bar, encourage them to climb on a climbing frame. Holding on and pulling themselves up will use similar hand muscles.
