What you need
A paper plate, or a side plate sized circle cut from a cardboard box
A pencil
A shoelace
What to do
Use a pencil to punch holes into your paper plate or cut-out circle.
Tie a knot in one end of the shoelace.
Show your toddler how to thread the shoelace through a hole.
Pass the plate to your toddler and encourage them to carry on threading.
