What to do
- Play a spotting game when you’re out for a walk or in the car.
- Think of something your child is likely to see quite soon and ask them to see if they can spot it before you do!
- It could be looking for a dog, a bus or someone on a bike.

Encouraging your child to look for a particular object helps them to practise controlling their visual attention.
