Use story time to increase your toddler’s understanding of ball play

What you need 

• Story book about balls, such as ‘Spot Goes to the Park’ or ‘Where is Baby’s Beach Ball?’ 

What to do 

1. Read the story with your toddler and talk about what is happening to the ball on each page. 
2. Encourage them to lift the flaps on each of the pages, or turn the page with you.
