What you need
- A baby step, or firm cushion
- Low chair or sofa
What to do
- Set up a climbing game by placing a baby step in front of a low chair or sofa.
- Stand behind your baby.
- Support and encourage them to climb onto the baby step and up onto the furniture.
- Give lots of praise when they achieve it!
This game should only be done with adult supervision. Remove the baby step from your baby’s reach if you need to leave the room.
