It’s a beautiful day – you and your baby can set up a picnic together

What you need 

• A picnic 
• A nice day (otherwise an indoor picnic) 

What to do 

1. Encourage your toddler to help you set up the picnic.  
2. Ask them to help by taking items that belong to them, such as their cup, plate and cutlery to the picnic blanket. 
3.  Make sure they only carry one thing at a time and that there are no obstacles in their way.
