Invite your toddler to help with day-to-day activities – their experiences can spark their imagination

What to try 

• Involve your toddler in some of your day-to-day activities.  
• They could do simple jobs like help to sort washing and put some into the washing machine, wipe up after eating or help to prepare food.  
• The more variety of experiences your child can be actively involved in, the more ideas they will have for their pretend play.
