I can hear and feel the bumps – riding a bike on a bumpy surface

What you need 

• A ride on toy 
• A safe bumpy surface 

What to do 

1. Find a bumpy surface and encourage your toddler to ride along it 
2. Encourage them to say a long, "Ahh," as they ride - they might notice their voice changes.  
3. Give them lots of time to go backwards and forwards, for as long as they’re enjoying their bumpy ride.
