What to try
- Sit on the floor with your legs out in front of you and let your toddler climb across your legs. Increase the challenge by bending your knees a little.
- When you’re standing or sitting on the edge of a sturdy chair, hold your toddler under their arms and gently swing them.
- Sit your toddler on your knee and gently bounce them – if they enjoy it go a bit faster.
Remember to protect your back during this type of play!
