What you need
- A few of your baby’s favourite books
What to try
- Share books with your baby at different times of the day. Encourage them to say as many words as they can.
- Have one or two ‘go to’ books that you read daily.
- Point to objects and animals in the illustrations and say what they are.
- Give your baby time to look at the illustrations. Point to them and pause for your baby to try and tell you what you have pointed at.
