Here they come – using scarves to help your baby think about things they cannot see
Share
What you need
An empty tissue box
A thin scarf or piece of fabric
What to do
Show your baby the scarf.
Put it into the box and leave a little bit sticking out.
Wait and see if your baby reaches for the scarf.
When they do, encourage them to pull it out of the box.
They might find it tricky to grab the scarf at first, so as they reach towards it you could help them to pull it out.
