Goal! Make laundry into a game of basketball

What you need 

• Clean washing 
• A basket 
  
  

What to do 

1. Turn the task of removing washing from the washer or dryer into a fun game!
2. Make sure it’s a load that is suitable for throwing, perhaps one that is mainly socks, underwear and clothes – and not a duvet cover!  
3. Encourage your child to remove a small item and throw it into the basket.
4. Have a turn yourself. 
5. Think about different ways to throw the laundry, overhand, underhand or over your head!
