Get scrubbing – can you wash yourself at bathtime?

What you need

• The bath or shower 
• A sponge or cloth 

What to do

• Give your toddler a sponge or cloth. 
• Talk to them about which part of their body to wash next.  
• Pause and give them time to respond.  
• If they seem unsure, gently move their hand and the cloth or sponge to wash the body part.
