What to do
- Sing one of your child’s favourite songs and tell them you’re going to do a finger dance.
- As you sing, tap the tip of your thumb with one finger at a time.
- Encourage your child to copy the finger dance.
Good to know
If your child enjoys this, let them make up the movements to the next song you sing, and copy them.
