Family mealtimes – sit together and create routines

What to try 

  • When you can, sit together at mealtimes and position your baby close to everyone else. 
  • Chat together about the day to help create a relaxed and sociable mealtime.  
  • Thinking about the social aspects of eating can take the focus away from the food and might help you and your baby feel more relaxed if your mealtimes have been a bit stressful.
